Adidas Tour360 Launch

Working with award-winning innovation agency, dot dot dash, Derek created a multi-platform immersive experience for the release of Adidas Golf’s flagship shoe, the Adidas Tour 360 22. Featuring gold-medalist pro, Xander Schauffele, the entire experience was streamed live and featured an AR Experience that was seamlessly incorporated into the broadcast.

It all starts with the setting. This time we decided to create our own. Early on in the process, we decided that we’d digitally create unique environments inspired by the design principles of the Adidas Tour 360 22 for each speaker in the piece. The goal: to elevate production quality and enhance the engagement of the launch. To honor the incredible thought, technology, and talent we also utilized a hand-drawn animation approach, using the assets created during the design, engineering, and manufacturing of the shoe. 

Giving the audience a peek under the hood seemed to work. Masun Denison, Global Footwear Director of Adidas Golf, said that “it was the best shoe launch I’ve ever seen,” and the product launch created the most engagement of any launch in Adidas Golf history.
